Its’ hard not to find anyone on Facebook anymore, and now we are starting to see more and more business’ pop up on Facebook with a fan page (we are there too). The importance of the fan page is ever growing as it allows more and more people to follow what is going on without having to deal with all of the hassle of sending a friend request and waiting anxiously to hear back. The fan page allows you to join without waiting for acceptance, giving you access to their posts instantly.

Facebook profile pages are great, do not get us wrong, it allows for great personal contact with friends or business partners. However, a profile page allows only 5,000 friends, and if you are a large or popular business, that can fill up very quickly. With the Fan Page, there is no limit to how many fans you can add and all of those people will have access to anything you post.

Here at Turbo Social Media, we have our Blog feed set up to post directly to our Fan Page, so all of our fans (663 fans at time of this posting) can follow what we are doing and get their updates right from Facebook. This also gives them a chance to connect with others who are interested in the same sorts of things.
