How Much Does Social Media Marketing Cost?

We are often asked, what kind of cost is involved with social media marketing? The truth is, that really depends how much your time is worth! Social Media Marketing is a great medium because it can incorporate all types of interaction with your clientele and prospects at an intimate level. There are multi-way conversations that take place on the various websites, and it is all based on excellent (or not so excellent) content.

Great content, meaning content that people actually want to read is the key to social media marketing. So it is essential to have great content produced on a regular basis. That is where the cost lies…the time it takes to produce this content. Deciding what to write about, actually writing it, and then knowing how to syndicate the content to the correct places does take a considerable amount of time. Depending on how much your time is worth, developing each of these articles, making sure that they are optimized correctly for the search engines, can cost as much as $300 per article (even more for some of you specialty doctors!).

Here at Turbo Social Media, we offer our clients services for all of the components of social media marketing. Although we require our clients to participate in the creation of the content for their social media marketing campaigns, this is because we truly want the information and opinions involved to come directly from the expert, however, everything else is taken care of from there.
