Same goes for Facebook, as you can see new updates and again interact with your friends list.
By having access to all of your Social Media sites at once you are also able to expand your network as well as continue submitting quality data all while doing your everyday work. This allows for a more personal experience on the web, where the user is in control and more connected to what they value.
