Kelly is an amazing business coach and expert on Marketing to the Affluent, and since we here at Turbo help Kelly with a lot of her Social Media Marketing, she invited us to join her at the conference. This was an amazing opportunity, as we were able to learn from Kelly as well as work with her, in teaching the finer points of marketing to the affluent.</p>
<p>At the conference, we were able to meet many new faces and business owners who will help us expand our network. We have learned in the past that conferences and seminars are great places to meet new people either for networking or as potential clients, as these people are showing an eagerness to learn and get ahead, and is this not what we want as one of our potential clients or colleagues?</p>
<p>We met people from all over the world of business from Life coaches and Marriage coaches, to interior decorators, chefs and authors. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Lately we&#8217;ve had a lot of questions about whether the video that is placed on our client&#8217;s websites should be produced professionally or not.  I&#8217;ve decided to write this post to address that exact question.</p>
<p>First off, just having video on your site is not going to make your site more money.  It is true that having video can increase the amount of time that people spend on your website, but this doesn&#8217;t necessarily correspond to additional leads or revenue.  In fact, the wrong video on your site can send prospects running. The most important thing to remember with the video that you are putting on your website or landing page is the message.  This goes for videos that are blasted out as well.  The message is important in video, just as it is in your headline, copy and so many other aspects of your marketing.</p>
<p>Ok, so now back to my point about whether the video needs to be professional or not.  Truth is, it really depends on your product, market, and whether you think that will matter to your clients.  More often than not, with the correct basic equipment, a solid plan and script, and a bit of time, &#8220;home based&#8221; videos can work out and be just as successful as a professionally shot video.</p>
<p>In terms of equipment, I suggest the Flip Ultra HD paired with a full sized tripod.  Here at Turbo Social Media, we use the Flip Mino HD.  The only difference is that the Mino is smaller, but the Ultra holds twice as much video as the Mino does and it bigger, and thus less delicate.  Either way you can pick up one of these awesome little HD recorders for about $200!  That&#8217;s a bargain considering what they used to cost, but I&#8217;ll get into that in another post.</p>
<p>Bottom line is, as long as the message is correct and the video and sound comes out fine and is good for the end user, video doesn&#8217;t need to be professionally done to be effective on blogs, websites, and video blasts!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I’m a big supporter of business and marketing coaches for helping to grow businesses.  A good one can not only provide the support, direction, and accountability to make your business increase quickly, but will also teach you how to use what they teach to create a replicable model.  At Turbo Social Media, we are supported by 2 coaches AND we support many coaches on their Social Media Marketing efforts.</p>
<p>So, the point of this article isn’t so much to tell you how great business coaches are, but to show you how they’ve been leveraging social media marketing to bring in more clients for their firms.</p>
<p>One of my coaches and client’s, Kelly O’Neil, of Marketing to Millionaires, coaches on <a href="http://www.MarketingToMillionaires.com" target="_blank">Marketing to the Affluent</a>.  When she came to us, she was doing a lot of content creation, but unfortunately, was having trouble making the content really work for her.  So we redid her blog and helped her out by syndicating the content she provided to us.  We also went through and optimized her blog articles, helped her to re purpose them and syndicated them on the many article publication sites.  We also took her videos, edited them, and then did video blasts.  Finally, Kelly is already very active with her social networking, so we worked with her on making sure that she shared the content that she wrote with her “networks” online. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Online video sites are one of the best places to gather an audience, as it is a must have in today&#8217;s Marketing World. Video Marketing, along with blogging, is leading the new wave of marketing, classified as Social Media Marketing. This new form allows the video creator a way to communicate with their audience on multiple levels: visual imagery, text, music, or the spoken word.</p>
<p>At this point you may be asking yourself how this would benefit anyone in the Medical fields, and my question to you is: &#8220;How could it not?&#8221; Video sites are a great way for many Doctors, Chiropractors and Cosmetic Surgeons to get their name out there with minimal investment. Online videos give the author a chance to reach a huge audience, for little money, which in turn creates an astounding ROI. Medical Professionals can talk about their practice, much like a commercial would, and drive traffic to their website. After somebody watches their video, and visits their site, the likelihood of that prospect turning into a client is much greater.</p>
<p>All of the Video sites, such as Youtube, Vimeo and Kewego, are free sites and the videos get watched by thousands if not millions of people&#8230; that is if everything is done right. Anyone can get their video on these sites, but it is another thing to get a following and get people to comment and create buzz around your video. Which is why many people are turning to the experts (that&#8217;s us!). When a video is done right, it is much easier to be found.</p>
<p>Video Marketing is a powerful tool because of its engagement potential, SEO value, and measurement opportunities.  There are specific steps professionals should take to make their video as popular as possible and we have the tools to manage those steps.  Remember to choose content that is informative and connects with the viewer. And recognize the power of the platforms that surround you. Online video is a powerful marketing tool if used correctly.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our clients often ask us, &#8220;What types of clients/patients am I going to attract by leveraging social media marketing&#8221;.  The answer to this question isn&#8217;t that simple, so let me explain myself here.</p>
<p>As of 2009, the demographics of people on the internet is vastly different than those on the internet circa 1996.  The reasons are:</p>
<ol>
<li>Barrier to Entry (buying a computer that can connect to the internet now can cost as little as $300)</li>
<li>Prevalence of the Internet as a Communications Tool</li>
<li>Free/Cheap Public Internet Access</li>
</ol>
<p>Now, I&#8217;m sure there are many more reasons, but these are my top ones.</p>
<p>A few of the things that I&#8217;ve learned when approaching the affluent population is having a product to market that they actually want!  I work with many doctors that offer expensive elective procedures and they wonder why some of their consults don&#8217;t close&#8230;</p>
<p>Its simple, they were targeting the wrong market, with the wrong message, using the wrong medium!</p>
<p>The affluent tend to do more research when making a large purchase, and social media marketing is a great way to reach them.  The wonderful part about Social Media Marketing is that if you approach it right, then it becomes really easy to establish yourself as the expert in your market.</p>
